Seaport Enhanced Contract  
Functional Area 11: Quality Assurance (QA) Support

At IRS, Expertech applied the Capability Maturity Model (CMM), ISO 9001, and IEEE 1012 as part of its engineering and business practices.† Expertech supported the IRS MeF and e-Services Quality Assurance Program implemented to addresses PRIME contractorís overall contract/project performance and accomplishment of the performance goals listed in the Work Orders. Expertech monitored performance in key areas to ensure that all MeF and e-Services goals in the work orders were achieved. Key areas and Metrics used include: Contract Performance (Schedule and budget); System Performance (Availability, response time, and number of software anomalies); System Usage (Measures related to systemís operation); End-User Satisfaction.

Each metric included one or more specific performance measures, each with its own acceptance target and surveillance method. Expertech QA provided objective evaluation of processes and associated work products to ensure that:
